Cedars Assisted Living
Cedars Assisted Living provides both housing and support services for those in need of assistance with daily activities. We offer private one-bedroom apartments with a full kitchen, bathroom, and living room, while the grounds are lush with trees and gardens.
Food Services
We have a dining room that serves lunch and dinner, with all meals created by our Red Seal Chef and approved by a certified dietician. Residents get a variety of selections for each meal, while breakfast is the responsibility of each resident. If a resident is ill, then tray service to the room can be provided.
Cleaning Services
On a weekly basis, housekeeping does light cleaning in each unit. One load of laundry a week is included, and staff will clean bed sheets and pillowcases weekly.
Care Services
Cedars provides some care services, with nurses on site until the evening, and care aides on site 24 hours a day. Our nursing staff can assist with dressing, bathing, toileting, and medication management, depending on a resident’s needs.
How to Apply
Because Cedars is a partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health, residents must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be approved by Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)
- Must be able to manage personal care
- Must need assistance with Daily Living Activities
- Low to moderate income
