Since you’re reading this on what is now hopehill.ca, it probably comes as no surprise that Beulah has made an exciting new change!
Over the past year and a half, our Board of Directors, management team, staff, and external partners have been working closely and thoughtfully on an update to the BG Homes brand name.
Now, we are proud to officially transition from “BG Homes” to:
We chose this name for many reasons.
The brand name “Hopehill” captures the hope and joy that both new and long-time residents have said they experience as members of our community – especially when finding stable affordable housing can be so hopeless in Vancouver. This new name also reflects our place in the beautiful rolling hills of East Vancouver.
The phrase “Living in Community” was also chosen to pair with the brand name, reflective of the many personal stories that we’ve heard over the years. Frequently, how many residents joined us looking only for a home but then discovering more, a chance to live and thrive in a caring community.
Our thanks to all of the residents, staff, and partners who helped us over the past year as we worked on developing this new brand. Our new name, Hopehill, is a direct result of the candid feedback you have provided through
surveys, conversations, and even quick connections in the hallways or over a cup of tea.
In the coming weeks, we will be updating many of our visual brand elements across the property. This will include interior and exterior signage, printed materials, social media accounts, and more. If you happen to see an installer putting up a new sign, feel free to say hello and share with them the reason for our new brand name.
